Unsure about whether to become an Authorised Economic Operator?
SITPRO's Authorised Economic Operators (AEO) seminar is for traders seeking to familiarise themselves with the scheme from an impartial organisation. AEO status is not mandatory and this event will add clarity to what can be a very difficult business decision. As a delegate, you will receive valuable insight from a trader with AEO (customs simplifications, safety and security) status and input into the application and audit processes from HM Revenue and Customs.
These half day events focuses on the key issues to be considered, offers insight into the process of achieving AEO status and highlights those critical issues to be considered when making an application.
Aimed at SMEs within the international trade environment who do not know or wish to learn more about AEO status. Helping traders to establish if it is in their business interest to apply and answering questions such as, "by not applying could we possibly lose future business opportunities?" "Will it benefit us to be seen as complaint?" "Are there advantages in being classed as a reliable trading partner?"
