SITPRO NEWS Trade Facilitation Now!

The World Bank Group is still seeking specialists to participate in its Doing Business Report 2011. The Doing Business project relies on the generous contributions of more than 8,000 lawyers, accountants, freight forwarders, architects and public officials who serve as Local Partners in 183 economies. SITPRO has already responded and we understand that the World Bank would still welcome other returns in order to expand the sample for the analysis of the UK.

We would encourage you to become a local partner by emailing rru@worldbank.org today including your name, contact information, expertise and specifying that you would be willing to complete a Trading Across Borders questionnaire for the 2011 Report. A member of the Doing Business team will then contact you shortly.

Alternatively you can complete the form at http://www.doingbusiness.org/localpartners/LocalPartners2.aspx

The “Trading Across Borders” questionnaire runs to 10 pages but should not take much longer than half and hour to complete by anyone who has experience of the international supply chain.

Those completing a return will receive a complimentary hard copy of the final Report.
