SITPRO's International Trade Regulatory Costs Survey (ITReCS) continues to expand. In addition to pilot surveys of US companies early in 2003, we want to undertake more surveys in the EU and also in other key trading countries such as Brazil, India, Japan, Korea, South Africa and Eastern Europe.
We believe we have a winner but we need companies to help us to prove it, whilst evaluating their own regulatory costs.
We are looking for multinational companies that operate in at least two of the above countries and SMEs operating in any one or more countries, particularly from the IT, aerospace, automotive, engineering, consumer electronics & retail/garment industries. The data we collect from the surveys will be used to calculate new or revised benchmarks, which will be given to the respondent companies in return for their assistance.
Would you be interested in helping us? All we ask is the opportunity to interview relevant personnel and collect some key cost data - this typically takes between one and two days in each country.
If you might be interested in taking part in the survey, please contact the ITReCs Project Manager, Michelle Walden. (michelle.walden@sitpro.org.uk
