SITPRO holds meetings throughout the year on a variety of subjects, but as a new year began it seemed a good opportunity to bring together people from all areas of our work and to compare notes on our recent achievements. With this in mind, over 70 individuals, representing government agencies, SITPRO licensees, our policy groups and other organisations, met on Wednesday 22nd January at our London offices for the SITPRO Review of 2002.
The event, featuring presentations by the chairmen of our policy groups, was not only an opportunity to look back over the successes of the last year, but also a chance to discuss our strategy for the future with some of the many people who assist us. At the drinks reception that followed, many of our guests commented on how they had discovered new facets of SITPRO's work as a result of the afternoon. Their responses have already suggested ways in which some of our projects could complement each other. With active support like this, 2003 promises to be another successful year.
