SITPRO NEWS Trade Facilitation Now!

In the previous issue of SITPRO news we reported on a joint letter sent out by SITPRO through EUROPRO and a number of other leading European Trade Associations to Commissioner Kovacs making recommendations on partnership with the trade community.

SITPRO is pleased to report that the Commissioner responded to this letter and committed the Commission to strengthening that partnership. This is a significant change of heart as trade representatives will now be invited to participate in a number of the Commission’s committees and working groups to which access was previously not available. SITPRO, through EUROPRO, is continuing to lobby for strengthening the partnership between business and government by making recommendations on best practice in trade consultation and project management.

If you have any specific views on trade consultation or project management, SITPRO would be keen to hear from you.
