SITPRO has a new vacancy for a Deputy Director of European Policy. This post will be primarily responsible for co-ordinating SITPRO’s response to the development of customs modernisation in Europe including a paperless customs environment. The postholder will liaise with UK stakeholders on proposals emanating principally from the European Commission, identify trade needs and interests, and advise the SITPRO Board on trade facilitation strategies for Europe. We would ideally like to appoint someone with relevant private sector trade experience, preferably on secondment terms.
