Simpler Trading in Liverpool
In July, SITPRO took its Simpler Trading seminar to Liverpool to provide another morning of trade facilitation advice for small businesses. The event, hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry was sponsored by HSBC Bank, who also presented information about payment methods and practices. As at previous seminars in this series, HM Revenue and Customs were also on hand to offer advice on changes due to Customs Modernisation, including SAD Harmonisation.
The seminar formed the first part of International Liverpool Day, which also marked the re-launch of Liverpool's International Trade Centre by the local Chamber of Commerce, where they plan to offer a 'One Stop Shop' of International Trade Services.
