With SITPRO's recent appointment as Vice Chair of the UN/CEFACT (Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business) Trade Business Group -'Digital Paper' we are very much looking forward to progressing the work of this group and delivering UNeDocsUK standards (for paper, XML and EDI transactions) with the requirements of UK traders and government catered for. However, SITPRO cannot do this without your help!
The next UN/CEFACT Forum is being held in April and SITPRO will be working on behalf of trade and government in the Digital Paper and Trade Facilitation groups. Some of the topics in debate will be e-invoicing, e-certificates (including Certificates of Origin), data harmonisation and legal issues relating to Single Window implementations. There will also be joint meetings with other trade business groups, such as those addressing insurance and transport. We would appreciate input to these debates from all parts of the UK trading community.
