This summer, SITPRO is planning to hold an AEO information seminar aimed at small and medium-sized businesses who are undecided whether to apply for Authorised Economic Operator status. At the beginning of April, HM Revenue & Customs approved Europe’s first five AEOs and now that companies have successfully made it through the accreditation process more will be keen to follow in their footsteps. One of these first companies to become authorised was Davies Turner Air Cargo. We hope they will be joining us at the seminar to explain how the process works from a business perspective alongside presentations by HMRC about the audit process companies have to go through.
