SITPRO's goal is to undertake short term and long term work, which is both focussed on UK and international objectives. It is absolutely crucial that we deliver results for UK businesses that enable them to operate more effectively from the UK, but we also have to ensure that 'UK Plc' positions itself to achieve major benefits from future trade negotiations. This issue of SITPRO News demonstrates both aspects of that work, from the short-term objectives that are exemplified by NES and recent security issues, to the longer-term objectives that have been demonstrated in our work on benchmarking and the WTO facilitation agreement.
