ODASCE Logo

21-22 November: ODASCE, a French organisation that promotes trade facilitation and procedural simplifications involving the use of new technology, will hold its 7th biennial conference in Dijon. The conference, entitled "Trade Facilitation - the moment of truth", aims at drawing up practical recommendations to enhance trade facilitation whilst maintaining an appropriate level of administrative and legal protection for trade. The conference will bring together approximately two hundred practitioners from France and beyond, working in both the private and public sectors, to discuss issues of international trade significance.

Delegates at Dijon will be able to benefit from this expertise by learning how dialogue with customs and tax administrations can be made more responsive and forward-looking. Business will look at networking as a tool to help improve their competitive position while maintaining a high level of administrative compliance.

The conference will be in French and English, with simultaneous interpretation in the plenary sessions and informal interpretation in two of the four workshops. For French speakers, full details of ODASCE and the conference are available on its website: www.odasce.asso.fr External Link Icon.
