NCTS Seminars
Limited series: 3 dates only

25 March Warrington - Cancelled
2 April Nottingham
1 May Gatwick

25 March, 2 April, 1 May: 1st July 2003 will see the biggest and most fundamental change to the Community Transit (CT) system since the UK joined the European Union. The current paper based system will become the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS). Although CT covers the movement of goods through the Community, it is not just a freight forwarding or transport issue. Exporters will need to understand the new system and manage the changes required to their administrative systems.

If you outsource your transport or logistics operations then you need to ensure your carrier/ haulier or export service provider is complying with the new procedures to avoid delays in deliveries. Also you may need to review your export strategy to take advantage of any benefits in NCTS; especially if your overseas markets are on the boundaries of the EU, like central Europe, Russia, the Near East and even North Africa.

Renewing our successful partnership with the Freight Transport Association and with the full support and participation of HM Customs & Excise, SITPRO is running three one-day seminars to explain NCTS. These seminars will provide an overview of CT, cover the new system in detail, identify opportunities for traders and show how NCTS fits in with the Customs Blueprint for international trade.

The Booking Form (pdf 85KB PDF Icon) for these seminars is now available to be downloaded from the SITPRO Website in PDF format.
