    • All meeting participants will be given a list of those present, and all present can introduce themselves and give an outline of their interests
  3. Introduction to SITPRO and role of SITPRO Advisory Groups
    • Malcolm McKinnon (Chief Executive of SITPRO) will give a short presentation on SITPRO’s work, the way in which SITPRO consults stakeholders, and the functioning of SITPRO Advisory Groups
  4. The Trade Facilitation Agreements Advisory Group (TFAAG)
    • John Cooke (Deputy Chairman, SITPRO, and SITPRO Board member responsible for WTO and other approaches to trade facilitation) will set out the proposed role of TFAAG in the context of the current state of negotiations on a Trade Facilitation Agreement and their possible future development
  5. EU Perspective On The DDA Trade Facilitation Negotiations
    • Jonathan Claridge from DG Trade will give a presentation
  6. Future TFAAG Objectives and Priorities
    • SITPRO’s trade policy guide "The WTO Trade Facilitation Negotiations" (already distributed to TFAAG members) sets out SITPRO's broad objectives. TFAAG members are invited to set out their priorities for trade facilitation and the opportunities, as they see them, for these priorities to be pursued. Opportunities may arise from, for instance, initiatives such as "Aid for Trade"
  7. TFAAG Terms of Reference
    • Draft Terms of Reference will be put before TFAAG for discussion and approval
